Carol Motley, Executive Director, Pittsylvania County Economic Development
Over the years I have worked with several web sites developers in attempts to have a site that was user friendly and at the same time was specific to our profession and our clients. Buentec was the first and only one who understood what I wanted and created the site I had been seeking for years.
A web site is a tool. Whether its purpose is marketing, sales, customer support or another business critical objective, your site is only as good as its content. In order for a web site to be relevant to its users the site needs to be well conceived and executed, but for it remain relevant, the site must be well maintained. This is where content management comes into play. This white paper addresses the services that buentec offers in the development of content management enabled web sites, and the benefits that our experience with this technology offers to your business.
At buentec all of the sites that we develop are built on a common Content Management infrastructure, one that makes it easy for you to retain control of your website, and to expand your site in a modular manner for years to come. A content-managed website provides the owner of the site with the tools to create new content and to maintain existing content.
Authorized users are able to edit the content on their site using their web browser and a word-like editor that loads into the web browser. All of this technology is part of the web-application, and requires no installations or special configuration of the client's desktop computers.
Users with administrative privileges are able to add new sections to the site, change navigation menus, and configure custom developed components that are integrated with the core CMS.
We have pre-developed components to handle a host of business requirements:
This is just a sampling of what is available. As developers we are capable of providing CMS integrated components to meet the unique business needs of our clients.
