Content Management Workshops
The Content Management Workshop series is a continuous program based around an annual schedule of 11 classes. It is free to buentec clients. If you are not a client but are interested in attending, contact us . The schedule for 2007 can be viewed here.
Books:
- Building Websites with Joomla! This book is basically the online documentation in book form, but if you prefer something you can cozy up with in bed, or just hold in your hands, it may be right for you.
Instructional Videos:
www.joomlatutorials.com - as you might gather from the name - is a great source for instructional videos - for FREE! Here are some selections to get you started:
- For Beginners. Covers the basics of working with the system - adding sections and categories, creating new content items, modifying the homepage layout and other topics.
- Administrator Tutorials. More advanced topics, some of which aren't relevant to content owners. However, the last three tutorials; menus, modules and media manager are quite useful.
- Document Management. How to work with DocMan - the module used for managing downloadable files on your site.
- JCE Editor. This is the Microsoft Word like editor that loads into your browser when you are editing content.

nSight SQL 2007
This is a proprietary application built by buentec for the non-woven textile manufacturing sector. Installation instructions can be found here.
The Support Ticketing System for nSight 2003 and nSight 2006 can be found here . You will need a user account to log in. You can sign up by clicking register in the right margin of the Ticketing System pages if you do not already have an account.
